Music Class
Jillian is currently taking a music class through Scott Community College designed just for toddlers. She absolutely loves it! It is once a week for an hour and they listen to stories, play musical instruments, sing, dance, and learn to listen to directions from their teacher and from music. At the end of class they get to pick out two stamps to put on their wrists (seen in the last picture). Jillian looks forward to music class every week!
Sisters!
Early November we had an ultrasound and we're able to find out the gender of the baby. Paul and I stole an idea from another friend and had the ultrasound tech write down the gender and put it in an envelope. We then went to Build a Bear and picked out a girl outfit and a boy outfit for our bear and had the clerk dress the bear according to what the card said. We took our Build a Bear box home and opened it with Jillian. It's official, we are having another girl!
October Fall Fest
This year Gram decided to put together a 2 day event for the grandkids called "Fall Fest". She had so many fun ideas for the kids and they loved all of the projects and activities that kept their little hands busy! Here are some pictures from the fun event!

Fall in Colorado
Late this summer, Paul and I ran across some very affordable tickets to Denver and decided to jump on it! We still have many friends that live out there so if we can get out at a reasonable rate, it is an affordable little getaway. We opted to leave Jillian behind with the grandparents and I think we all had a better time with that scenario! Paul and I were in Colorado for about 5 days and spent the majority of our time with friends in Colorado Springs. We went on a hike in the area and checked out the Olympic Training center. We had a sweet time of fellowship with the Hartle family!
We took a day trip to Denver to go to our old church and then had lunch with the Srnecs, a couple that used to be in our small group. We then visited some old seminary neighbors of ours, the Pirolos. We got to meet their daughter, Grace, and hear about their upcoming mission work in Rwanda.
The last full day we were out in Colorado, Paul and I ventured out on our own. We stayed at a bed and breakfast in the mountains and then filled the day with hiking at Mueller State Park and went for a drive in the mountains admiring the golden Aspens. The colors were breathtaking! What a beautiful creator we have!

August
Our most exciting news to share is that we will be expecting baby Hovey #2 in February 2013! We are thrilled to be expanding our family. Jillian's not quite sure what she thinks of it yet but I think in the end she'll be a good helper and that she'll love being a big sister...at least we hope!
Here are a few highlights form August:
Jillian got to go on her first bicycle ride with Gram and Grandpa being pulled in their new trailer. She loved it!
We met up with several friends from church at a bounce house in the area. Jillian had a great time and wasn't afraid to even go down the big slides.
We had the pleasure of going to the Niabi Zoo with Abby's aunt Pam, cousin Melissa, and her son, Kaden. Gram came too! It was a beautiful day and Jillian loved showing Kaden all the hot spots at the zoo!
Trying out the rhino!
The week of August 18th, we had a celebration of life service for Abby's Grandpa who passed away at age 96 on August 1st. It was a beautiful service and we praise the Lord for his long life and that he was able to go home to the Lord so peacefully. The following Sunday Paul and I were baptized at our church and Jillian was dedicated. Paul and I found it very meaningful to speak of our personal faith in the Lord in front of our church and go forward with baptism to symbolize our relationship and commitment to living for Christ.
After the baptism we went to Gram and Grandpa's for family time! I love these Glew kiddos!
Jillian loves to help water plants at Gram and Grandpa's
...and she loves picking tomatoes with Grandpa!
