We hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas! We decided we better stay in Denver this year for Christmas since Abby is almost 34 weeks along. It was strange not being with family but we still managed to have a great Christmas together. We woke up on Christmas morning and skyped Abby's family to watch them open presents. We enjoyed talking to both sides of our family over the phone as well. We then went all out and made a brunch together including carmel pecan sticky buns and mini quiches. Christmas evening we had a friend over from the area who also doesn't have family around and made a fondue supper together. People told us to enjoy our last "quiet" Christmas as this time next year we'll have a 10 month old on our hands. We are greatly looking forward to what 2010 has to bring! Happy New Year to you all!

Hi Hovey's! :) Thank you so much for all your thoughts and prayers for our little guy! I'm so excited for you guys to become parents...I can't even describe what a blessing it is! Even with unexpected health concerns, it is absolutely amazing how good God is. I'm sure you guys are getting more and more excited to welcome your little girl! The last couple months are the hardest to wait! We enjoy getting the updates on your blog...please tell Dennis and Melanie Hi for us too. They've left a few comments on our blog, but I'm not sure how to write them back! :) Take care - let us know if you have any questions about what you are about to embark on..haha - we are pretty fresh in our new parenting experience!
